Siri, text dictation and forward facing videos do not work - have weird audio

Since iOS 9.3.1 my Siri, text dictation and forward facing videos will not work. All I will receive is a "wind sound", like someone is blowing directly into the mic and causing interference.

If I toggle from rear to front facing video I can get audio, but I'm sure that the front facing video is using the rear mic and not the front mic for sound. If I try to film two front facing videos back-to-back, I will not get audio on the second video.

Siri shows on her wave bar that she can hear noise but nothing I do helps.

Dictation also shows waves when there is no speaking into the app, and cannot pick up any words.

I have done everything, tried beta softwares, reinstalling and uninstalling apps, resetting settings and a factory restore. Nothing has fixed it.

Unfortunately my phone was a replacement phone when my original IPH6+ got "Touch Disease" after having it for only 9 months. This literally started right after the update of 9.3.1

If anyone has any resolutions short of taking it in for a $300+ repair, please help. This phone is only 9 months old, and this is its only issue. It is in pristine condition and I would like to give it to one of my kids if I do decide to upgrade my phone to the IPH7.
